Fellow - PhD
No stated deadline.
Seattle Children's Hospital, WA USA
A fully supported postdoctoral position is available in the Coler Translational Research Group for studies to develop novel vaccines for infectious diseases. Our current programs are focused on emerging and high-consequence diseases including tuberculosis and those caused by positive strand RNA viruses e.g., SARS-CoV-2. The successful candidate will be engaged in development of vaccines for a variety of infectious diseases. Expertise in mouse or human immunology and cellular immunoassays, including multiparametric flow cytometry, is a must. A key aspect will include combining information from multiple levels such as genes, proteins and whole cells to gain a clear, multi-scale understanding of vaccine function and/or small animal models during infection and disease. They will also be responsible for characterizing immune responses following vaccination in challenge models.
