VALIDATE Network Opens Round 6 Mentoring Scheme - Apply by March 18, 2024

VALIDATE has launched our Round 6th Mentoring Scheme, extending an invitation for applications until March 18, 2024, at 4 pm GMT. Aligned with VALIDATE’s commitment to nurturing career development, this annual mentoring initiative seeks to pair about 10 emerging post-docs/early PIs with experienced Senior Scientist mentors from within the network. Scientists worldwide are eligible to apply, with a particular emphasis on encouraging applications from Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).

To qualify, applicants must hold VALIDATE Associate or Investigator membership, which is freely available on the VALIDATE webpage. Each mentoring relationship spans a year, culminating in mentees providing a concise report for inclusion in network outcomes and publicity. The mentoring scheme's impact on career perspectives, skill development, and collaborative opportunities is evident in testimonials from previous mentees, emphasizing the program's value as a catalyst for professional growth.
