VALIDATE Welcomes New Scientific Advisory Board Members

The VALIDATE Network is pleased to welcome three new members to our Scientific Advisory Board (SAB):

• Professor Hazel Dockrell, Professor of Immunology, LSHTM
• Dr Ole Olesen, Executive Director, TBVI
• Dr Amin Khan,  

The SAB plays a vital role in providing independent oversight of the VALIDATE Network. This includes supporting transparency across our activities — particularly in relation to membership and grant awards — as well as offering strategic advice to help shape the Network’s direction and priorities. We are delighted that these internationally respected leaders in vaccine research and development have agreed to join the Board, and we look forward to working closely with them.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our outgoing SAB and Network Management Board members — Allan Saul, Jelle Thole, and Jenefer Blackwell — for their invaluable contributions over the past year. Their guidance, insight, and commitment have played an important role in strengthening VALIDATE’s governance, supporting our members, and helping to advance the Network’s mission.

We are extremely grateful for the time and expertise they have given to VALIDATE, and we wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.
