VALIDATE Announces Opening of Round 4 for Fellowships - Deadline 8th April 2024

The VALIDATE Network has announced the opening of Round 4 for its Fellowships, with a deadline set for April 8, 2024. The initiative focuses on accelerating research for neglected intracellular pathogens, specifically targeting Mycobacteria, Leishmania, and Burkholderia pseudomallei. These two-year Fellowships aim to support independent scientific research, enabling fellows to produce initial data and establish a track record for obtaining external funding, with a special emphasis on career progression for Early Career Researchers and individuals from low-and-middle-income countries or identifying as female and/or non-binary.

To apply, candidates must be Associate members of VALIDATE and have not previously received a VALIDATE Fellowship. The submission deadline is at 4 pm GMT on April 8, 2024. The application, including the form and associated documents, should be compiled into a single PDF document and sent to VALIDATE@ndm.ox.ac.uk. Successful fellows will be invited to present their project plans at the 2024 VALIDATE Annual Meeting, with attendance costs covered by VALIDATE.
