Meanwhile on Twitter, we've tweeted a TED talk by GAVI CEO Seth Berkley about "The troubling reason why vaccines are made too late", 10 simple rules for structuring scientific papers from PLOS, infographics on TB and OneHealth, we've flagged upcoming webinars on "Managing uncertainty in clinical trials: the role of adaptive trial designs" and "Why you shouldn't believe what you read in medical journals", and much more - so follow us @NetworkValidate to keep up to date with all the news in the field.

We've also welcomed another new Associate member to VALIDATE, Dr Camilo Colaco from ImmBio, as well as new Affiliates Dr Alasdair Nisbet (Moredun Research Institute), Gurdip Mann (LSHTM), Lisa Stockdale (LSHTM) and Kenneth Musinguzi (IDRC, Uganda). VALIDATE is an open and cross-discipline Network, so do pass our details on to your collaborators, staff and students who work on TB, leish, melioidosis or leprosy vaccines, epidemiology, modelling, immunology, bioengineering (or any any other related discipline) and encourage them to join us.

Finally, of course, today is the closing date for the first round of VALIDATE pump-priming and training grants, so make sure you get your applications submitted by 4pm so that we can fund your research!
