Weekly round-up #14

Weekly round-up #14

It's been a busy week here at VALIDATE this week, so let's crack on with the news...

Firstly, we're delighted to announce that the first round for our VALIDATE Fellowships is now open. These are open to Early Career Researcher Post-doc (Associate) Members to fund a year’s independent scientific research with the aim of producing initial/pilot data, and a funding and experience track record, that can be used by the Fellow to go on to obtain independent external funding and launch their career as a Principal Investigator and/or Group Leader. We're hoping they will really springboard our members' research careers. Find out more about the Fellowships on our website, and don't forget to apply before the 14th December deadline.

The second bit of news is we're on the hunt for the VALIDATE Research Data Analyst, a new post within the Network. This is a fantastic opportunity for a post-doc Data Analyst to have a big impact on vaccine R&D for neglected infectious diseases, and you'll play a crucial role in VALIDATE's success. Find out more about the role and how to apply here, and please do flag this opportunity to anyone you know who might be interested.
