Weekly round-up #5

Weekly round-up #5

The 5th and 6th September 2017 saw us hosting the 1st VALIDATE Annual Meeting. 37 members attended representing five countries, and all interacting in animated discussion that gave a real buzz to the two days. New collaborations were sparked, new ideas bloomed... a full meeting report will follow, but our 1st Annual Meeting was deemed a great success. Very many thanks to all our members who joined the meeting and made it such a fantastic event.

As always, we've been tweeting on Twitter (@NetworkValidate), to keep you up to date on all the news and views in our field - so do follow us if you're on this platform... and if you're not, perhaps consider joining just to follow us! Our tweets are a whole lot more interesting than what we ate for lunch and what our pet cat did last night; instead we're highlighting great funding and training opportunities, the recently launched MRC vaccine development toolkit for researchers, a Wellcome Trust infographic showing how vaccines have changed the world, an opinion piece stating how the fight against antibiotic-resistant bacteria might start with vaccines - and much more that could help you in your career and research. So join us - or let our Network Manager Sam know your preferred social media platform, and we'll see if we can add it to our portfolio. We want to keep you informed!
