- 5 May 2022, 13:00 - 17:00 BST
About the course:
Flow Cytometry is a technology where physical and chemical measurements are made on particles as they flow one by one through a flow chamber at rates of several thousand per second. This course was aimed at those new to cytometry and those who wished to consolidate their knowledge. Led by experts in the field, attendees learned about the reagents used in a flow experiment, how a cytometer works, fluorescence compensation, experimental design & sample preparation, and data analysis & presentation.
The Seminar Provider
The Scottish Society of Cytomics was formed with the intention of providing information related to the art of cytometry (flow and imaging) including its cross-technology applications to genomics, proteomics, in vivo imaging and other core related areas between the research organizations in Scotland and Northern England.
