VALIDATE for Schools South Africa 2026

On 14 July 2026, VALIDATE members Suraj Bhattarai, Liezel Smith, Zimvo Obasa, Happy Tshivhula, Bih Chendi, Alma Truyts and Robert Krause helped deliver a two-day VALIDATE for Schools event at Stellenbosch University. Learners explored tuberculosis, vaccines and careers in science through expert talks, research case studies, hands-on laboratory activities, science communication training and group presentations.
