Engaging the wider public with our research on vaccines for mycobacteria, Leishmania species and melioidosis is an important part of VALIDATE’s work. We support the VALIDATE community of researchers to reach wider audiences and share their science beyond the research community.
Over the years, VALIDATE has organised a number of online and, more recently, in-person public talks, connecting VALIDATE researchers with curious minds around the world. These talks offer the opportunity to hear directly from scientists working on some of the biggest challenges in vaccine development. Our speakers explore the science behind vaccines and the diseases they are working to tackle, discuss wider questions around global health and infectious disease, and share stories from their own careers and research journeys.
