The VALIDATE Hub

The VALIDATE Hub is our members-only online resource, now hosted on the Canto platform. It brings together a wide range of materials for VALIDATE members, including event videos, Annual Meeting recordings, photos, SOPs, protocols, and other useful resources to support research and career development.

Access to the Hub is available to VALIDATE members who have signed the VALIDATE Confidentiality Agreement (CDA).

 

The VALIDATE Hub includes:

  • Career development resources, such as SOPs and grant writing materials
  • Recordings of VALIDATE seminars and workshops that are not publicly available on our YouTube channel
  • Recordings of talks from previous VALIDATE Annual Meetings from 2021 to 2025
  • Annual Meeting photos from 2017 onwards

We will continue adding new content over time, including further resources and recordings from VALIDATE events.

How to use the Hub

You can access the VALIDATE Hub here: https://validate.canto.global/v/Hub

  • Existing users of the VALIDATE Annual Meeting Photos portal can use the same login details to access the Hub.
  • Members who have not received an invitation email can select “Access Request” on the login page and complete a short form. Once approved by the VALIDATE Team, access will be granted.
  • Members who cannot remember their password, or whose invitation link has expired, should use the “Forgot password?” option on the login page.

Please note: Access to the Hub can only be granted once a member has signed and returned the VALIDATE Confidentiality Agreement (CDA).

Burkholderia pseudomallei resources

As part of VALIDATE’s export control compliance under UK legislation, resources relating to Burkholderia pseudomallei are stored in a separate folder within the Hub.

Access to this folder is restricted to members at institutes that have completed the VALIDATE Open Individual Export License Undertaking form. If you are unable to access this folder but believe you should have access, please contact the VALIDATE Team for advice on the next steps.

Sharing SOPs and protocols

The VALIDATE Hub is also a space for members to share SOPs and protocols with the wider network. If you or your research group have materials that could be useful to other VALIDATE members, and you are happy for them to be shared, please get in touch with the VALIDATE Team.
