Hosted on Microsoft Teams, The VALIDATE Hub is an online forum where you can interact with fellow VALIDATE members and the VALIDATE Team. It provides a space where members exchange data, publications, career advice, details of events, and anything else that relevant to the VALIDATE community.
You can find the Hub here.
How to access the VALIDATE Hub
If you are a VALIDATE member and have signed the CDA you should already have access to the Hub. New members will be granted access after joining. We will automatically use the email address you used to join VALIDATE. We recommend that you download the MS Teams app. However, the Hub works in well in most web browsers. When we add you to the member’s list, you will receive an email that provides a link to the Hub.
Already use Teams?
If you use Microsoft Teams on regular basis, getting access should be straightforward and the Hub will be added to your list of Teams.
- Make sure you provide VALIDATE with the email you use to log in to the Teams as this may be different to the one you registered with us - firstname.lastname@example.org.
New to Teams?
If you are new to Microsoft Teams you will need to have provide VALIDATE with an email address linked to a Microsoft Account in order to access the Hub.
If you have all of the above you are good to go and can find the VALIDATE Hub here.
If you are still having difficulty accessing the Hub, get in touch with the VALIDATE Team and we should be able to help.
Navigating the Hub
The VALIDATE Hub is divided into channels. If you click on each channel you will find the Post tab which will display all of the recent announcements and conversations.
Next to the “Posts” is “Files” tab is where you will find things like presentation slides, event reports, SOPs and public access videos.
Teams allows you set each channel to send you notifications when members post to ensure that you don’t miss anything. To do this, click on the channel you wish to notify you, then hover over it to get the three dots (…). Click on the dots, then you should see ‘channel notifications’ at the top of the pop-up menu. Here you can choose to receive notifications that will alert you through the Teams App or browser.
