We're excited to announce that the VALIDATE training grant call is now open!
Grants of up to £3000 are available to help VALIDATE Associates (post-doctoral researchers) take advantage of training opportunities that will contribute to their professional development. This can include (but is not limited to): attendance at courses or workshops, laboratory exchange, work shadowing, and attendance at an international conference to present a talk. We particularly welcome applications from researchers based in low and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Training opportunities can be within, or external to, the VALIDATE Network; we advertise those we know of here but you can apply for other opportunities you know about as well.
The VALIDATE Members' Directory may also give you ideas for potential laboratory exchanges or tech transfer visits.
The grants are awarded via competitive application to the Network Management Board. You'll find further details, along with the application form and application guidance document, on our training grant page.
The call closes at 4pm on the 31st October 2017, so get your application in asap!
