This week has seen VALIDATE Director Helen McShane talking about (TB vaccines but also) VALIDATE at the UK Vet Vaccinology Network in Stirling. We've also welcomed Assistant Professor Tufária Mussá from Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique as an Associate VALIDATE member. You can see more information about our members and their research interests in our members directory.

It's been a fairly quiet week in terms of new calls:

Visit our external funding webpage to see the full list of current open calls that could be relevant to you.

No new training opportunities this week, but don't forget we have an open Training Grant call for Associates. Our Training Opportunities page should give you lots of ideas - or you could arrange a lab exchange with someone within the VALIDATE network... with 93 members there are plenty of labs to pick from!

Similarly nothing new for External meetings or Job Opportunities but visit our webpages for each to see what's coming up.

Paper spots this week include:

Meanwhile back in the office there have been lots of interesting tweets to share, including the MRC's top 10 tips to help you respond to reviewers' comments; 500women are looking for female scientists from Africa, Asia, Latin America, & Middle East to join their 'request a scientist' database to improve representation of women on panels and in the media; and lots of posts about the upcoming World Leprosy Day - take this quiz to see how much you know!
