Weekly round-up #205

ECDN meeting

ECR Career Development Network (ECDN)

As part of VALIDATE’s aim to encourage and support post-doctoral and early PI researchers' career progression amongst members, and to help address inequality in scientific career progression, we created a two-year-long ECR Career Development Network (ECDN) programme for members identifying as female.

On Monday the 21 February, 13 ECRs from VALIDATE joined Network Manager Sam Vermaak, VALIDATE Network Director Helen McShane and Co-Director Sam Sampson, for the ECDN kick-off meeting. Attendees discussed the future of the network and had separate discussions in their Accountability and Mentoring groups.
