The West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP), under its Wellcome Trust/AESA DELTAS programme, will hold the 4th in its series of the Bioethics workshops on responsible research conduct designed for postdoctoral fellows and institutional IRB coordinators. This year’s workshop will be held at the MRTC, University of Sciences, Techniques and Technologies, Bamako, Mali from April 22-26.
The workshop will be facilitated by a National Institutes of Health (NIH) team of bioethics experts headed by Dr. Liza Dawson, who is the Research Ethics Team Leader in the Division of AIDS (DAIDS) at the NIH. Other team members include Drs. Paul Ndembele, Paulina Tindana, and Morenike Ukpong.
