Clinical Lecturer in Respiratory Medicine

This is a fixed term (up to 5 years or up until six months after obtaining CCT) Clinical Lectureship tenable in the Institute of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation. Suitable applicants will hold MRCP (UK)/or equivalent and will have completed general professional training in Medicine. The successful candidate will be appointed at the appropriate level of Specialty Registrar and will enter the West of Scotland Respiratory Medicine Training Programme. Applicants must already have a national training number at the time of taking up the post
The post will be based within the Institute of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation in the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS) of the University of Glasgow, but for the purposes of clinical training, rotation to local hospital departments may be required. Where possible the lecturer will be based in Glasgow to maximise research opportunities but clinical activities and research may also be undertaken on other sites.
