VALIDATE PhD Showcase Series

validate phd showcase

The first VALIDATE PhD Showcase was a dynamic online event that brought together VALIDATE PhD Students with fellow members worldwide to explore their latest research and enhance their presentation skills. The event featured quick-fire presentations from VALIDATE member PhD students, who presented an area of their research in just 8 minutes, followed by 2 minutes for questions. After the talks, the presenters were divided into interactive workshop rooms, where they engaged in further discussions with senior VALIDATE Investigators who provided personalized feedback and advice to help with future presentations.

Our primary aim was to provide PhD students with an opportunity to enhance their presentation skills and also share their research with an international network of peers. We believed this event served as a valuable platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

The First Showcase took place on 12 September 2023 at 15:00 BST.
