A postdoctoral immunology fellowship position is available to join Prof Padraic Fallon’s Translational Immunology Research group in Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. The group is involved in research on the immunology of human diseases undertaken studies using clinical samples as well as animal models. The fellow will based in the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, Trinity College Dublin. The Fellow will be engaged in research on innate and adaptive immune regulation during inflammatory diseases using new transgenic mice. The Fellow will work on a designated project as part of a team and will have opportunities to work independently within a multi-disciplinary research environment. As required, specialized training will be provided in laboratories of international collaborators.
Applicants will be highly motivated, hold a PhD in immunology or related field, and have a research record with publications appropriate to career stage. Applicants should have proficiency in inflammatory mouse models of disease, including transgenics, flow cytometry, tissue culture and molecular biology. Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
