The Leicester School of Allied Health Sciences has an excellent reputation for the delivery of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and has a vibrant interdisciplinary research culture. The School is seeking to appoint a Chair to develop and lead trans-disciplinary global health research, with an emphasis on public/community health and/or allied health.
It is our goal to become the leading provider of professional and creative education with research that pushes boundaries and improves lives. We wish to attract more talented, professional and creative academics to our campus.
You will need experience of global/international research and develop global health research and expertise, with the potential to establish a Centre or Institute of Global Health.
You should have an established research track record including evidence of significant income generation, high impact publications and national/international esteem indicators.
You will also provide academic leadership and teaching in global health.
