Project Leader, TB Vaccines, Gates Medical Research Institute, Cambridge, MA, USA

Reporting to the Head of Project Management and Clinical Operations, the Project Leader will work in partnership with the Clinical Development Leader to provide strategic and operational leadership of program development activities.  This will include leading the team to develop and recommend the program strategy, timelines, budget and measurable milestones.  He or she will partner with the core program team to proactively identify program challenges and risks; and to propose plans to actions to mitigate those risks.

The Project Leader will also spearhead the Gates MRI’s efforts on operationalizing collaborative efforts in Global Health drug/vaccine development.  This will require ensuring operational alignment between the Gates MRI and the BMGF, the consortium (if applicable), and actively managing the timely launch of Gates MRI activities.

The individual will be an independent thinker, self-motivated, outstanding team player, ability to influence and driven to achieve results in a complex environment as demonstrated by previous track record.
