Chaired by Professor Dame Nicky Cullum DBE FMedSci, Head of School and Professor of Nursing, University of Manchester, the keynote speaker is Professor Max Parmar, Professor of Medical Statistics and Epidemiology and Director of the MRC Clinical Trials Unit and the Institute of Clinical Trials and Methodology, University College London. The agenda will feature sessions to help you:

The AMS Career Development events are for pre- and post-doctoral researchers in biomedicine and health, to give practical skills and the chance to network with colleagues. They also offer clinical academic trainees help in navigating the clinical academic training pathway and developing a research career. We will be exploring the findings and recommendations of the Academy's recent policy report, 'Enhancing the use of scientific evidence' and how they can be helpful to early career researchers.
