VALIDATE Workshop - Resources & Strategies for Improving English

This online workshop took place at 15:00 BST on 26 July 2023.

The VALIDATE Network offered this workshop to help members improve their English-language skills. Organised in collaboration with the University of Oxford Language Centre, Resources and Strategies for Improving English provided researchers with practical advice and introduced valuable resources for developing their written and spoken English in academic and research settings.

English is the principal language of global research, and proficiency is important for vaccine researchers seeking to communicate their findings effectively to an international audience.

About the Workshop

VALIDATE worked with the University of Oxford Language Centre to deliver this two-hour online workshop. Participants learned about online and other resources available to help them develop their English-language skills and communicate more effectively within an academic research environment.
