Biography:
My research focuses on tuberculosis (TB) diagnostics, particularly improving early and accurate detection methods to support global TB control efforts. As a Research Assistant at the Respiratory Programmatic Implementation and Research Institute (RPRI), I contribute to clinical trials such as DriveDx4TB and C-TST, both aimed at evaluating novel diagnostic tools for TB. My role involves laboratory coordination, technical oversight, and hands-on work in evaluating diagnostic kits, ensuring that research protocols are effectively implemented.
My main research interests lie in molecular diagnostics, clinical research operations, and the application of innovative technologies in infectious disease detection. I am particularly interested in optimizing molecular and immunological assays to enhance TB diagnostics, making them more accessible and reliable. By working at the intersection of laboratory science and clinical research, I aim to contribute to the development of more efficient diagnostic strategies that can improve patient outcomes, particularly in high-burden TB settings.
