Biography:
Mycobacterial glycolipids are major components of the mycobacterial cell wall and play a key role in shaping the innate immune response upon infection, thereby influencing disease outcomes. We study how these glycolipids rewire the myeloid cell compartment via innate tolerization and its potential effect on the establishment of latent infection in Tuberculosis.
