Biography:

Addisu Melese Dagnaw (MSc), Lecturer of Medical Microbiology at the department of Medical Laboratory Science, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. I have more than ten years of Teaching and research experience and published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles at international journals. I actively participate in multidisciplinary research in the areas of antimicrobial resistance, infectious disease diagnostics, emerging/re-emerging infections and Vector borne diseases. Due to my collaborative research activities, I was listed as one of the top ten researchers at Bahir Dar University in the 2024 AD index report. Together with my colleagues at Bahir Dar University, I have established Medical Entomology & insectary laboratory at the Amhara Public Health Institute (APHI), regional research & diagnostic center at Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.
