Biography: Dr. Elora Sharmin is Chairman and Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at BMU, Bangladesh. Her work centres on improving drug safety and vaccine pharmacovigilance in low-resource tropical settings. She has led the establishment of a pharmacovigilance centre at BMU and serves as principal investigators of different research project and also research assessor in different society. Dr. Sharmin has extensive experience in vaccine surveillance, tuberculosis clinical research, and medical education as well as animal study. Her international training includes programs at AIIMS Delhi and Eulji University, Korea, USA.
