Biography:

Dr. Muhammad Idrees is a medical doctor and public health researcher with interdisciplinary training in vaccinology, infectious disease epidemiology, and health systems research. He holds an MS in Vaccinology and Infectious Diseases from France and Belgium and is currently pursuing a PhD in Population Health at the University of Ottawa. His doctoral research focuses on exploring health-system and policy-level barriers and facilitators to HPV vaccine implementation in low- and middle-income countries. With prior experience as a Family Physician and Research Intern in preventive vaccine trials, he aims to strengthen equitable vaccine access through evidence-based policy and collaboration.
