Biography: My major research focus is infectious diseases of food animals especially the diseases with zoonotic potential and public health concern. I have developed and evaluated vaccine against staphylococcal mastitis in cows and buffaloes as my doctoral research. I am working on zoonosis issues specially on presence of Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) strains of public health in animal meat and Antimicrobial Resistance on human- animal interface.
