Bashar Haruna Gulumbe is a researcher and a lecturer in the Department of Microbiology, Federal University Birnin Kebbi, Nigeria. His research interest lies at the interface of environmental microbiology, public health microbiology, antimicrobial resistance and bacterial stress response. He has published about a dozen peer-reviewed articles and has attended conferences in Nigeria and abroad. Recently, he secured a DAAD funding for his PhD program tenable at Rhodes University, South Africa.
