Biography:
Biswash Sapkota is a dedicated pharmacologist, researcher, and educator currently serving as a Lecturer at Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences, Nepal. With a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Pokhara University and a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, he has contributed significantly to the development of pharmacy education in Nepal. He has played a key role in designing curricula for various health science programs and has taught over 1,000 students, emphasizing the importance of pharmacy in public health. His research focuses on pharmacological interventions, medicinal plants, and rational drug use, with multiple projects funded by prestigious organizations.
Beyond academia, Biswash is actively involved in research and institutional development. He serves as the associate editor of the Nepal Journal of Health Sciences and is a member of the research committee at his institution, promoting faculty development through seminars and workshops. His passion for research is evident in his studies on pharmacist-led interventions, antiulcer drug formulations, and the ethnomedicinal potential of Nepalese plants. Committed to advancing pharmacy education and research, he continues to inspire students and contribute to Nepal’s healthcare system.
