Biography: I obtained the Electrical Mechanical Engineer degree at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 1985, the Master’s in Electronic Engineering at the Philips International Institute of Technological Studies in Eindhoven, the Netherlands in 1987, and a Ph.D. at the Eindhoven University of Technology in 1992. My research interests are digital pathology image processing, computer vision, and machine learning.
