Emma Taylor

I am a Ph.D. student based within the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences at Aberystwyth University. In collaboration with University College Dublin (UCD), APHA, AFBI, Harper Adams University, and Wageningen University & Research, I am researching the use of omic approaches to improve the detection of Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis (MAP) in dairy cattle herds. The project aims to identify metabolomic changes within each stage of MAP progression, using biobanked samples from collaborators in addition to examining the effects of Gudair vaccination.
