Biography:

Esther holds a Master of Science degree in Immunology and Clinical Microbiology from Makerere University. She is currently, a junior research fellow at Makerere University Lung Institute. She is an awardee of the DAAD PhD In Region sub-Saharan Africa scholarship program. Esther will be registered at the Division of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics, Stellenbosch University, South Africa (2021-2023). Her research interests are in the field of Tuberculosis diagnostics and vaccine development.
