Biography: Girma Zewdie is a PhD candidate in veterinary microbiology at Addis Ababa University and serves as the chief officer of vaccine production at NVI, Ethiopia. His research is pivotal in advancing the prevention and control of diseases affecting livestock across Africa and Asia. With a rich background spanning 11 years in animal vaccine production, he leads initiatives to develop quality vaccines that are accessible and affordable. As an active member of the VALIDATE network, Girma is eager to contribute his expertise towards combating neglected zoonotic bacterial infections, fostering a synergy between animal and human health through a one health approach.
