Highly experienced and motivated research scientist in the field of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics, who is also passionate about mentoring other scientists in grant writing. Over 30 years of experience in working at academic and private research institutions in the USA, South Africa, and Finland. Extensive experience in putting together NIH, EDCTP and Wellcome Trust grant applications with multiple partner institutions in Africa, Europe and the USA. Currently serving as a Grant Writing Mentor for investigators from low-and-middle-income countries in the VALIDATE Network.
