Biography
Biomarkers in tuberculosis: I am interested in understanding the biology of infection from the biomarker data and in the discrimination of incipient, subclinical TB.
Individual variability: I think that individual variability of host responses in diseases is an underestimated area of TB biomarker research.
Functional analysis: with new tools I try to bridge the gap between high throughput data and understanding the underlying biology. For this, I developed the R package tmod (http://tmod.online)
