Biography:

I am a Full-Time Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at UNAM. Since 2010 I am a member of LaPI (Advanced Image Processing Laboratory) of the Faculty of Engineering at UNAM and since 2017. My research is focused on carrying out basic and applied engineering projects in artificial intelligence topics, such as pattern recognition, machine learning and deep learning applied to computer vision and digital processing of biomedical images.
