Biography: Dr. Ogboi Sonny Johnbull is a chief medical laboratory scientist with specialization in Public health medical microbiology (parasitology) with nearly two decades of experience. He is sought after Scientists, and facilitator frequently called on by Ministries of Health and global health organizations to develop policies, logistics management, facilitate policy dialogues, quality assurance programs, capacity-building strategies, treatment and prevention (including vector control) guidelines, and program evaluations, especially in malaria, iCCM, HIV, and NTDs. He is a member of the prestigious Medical laboratory Council of Nigeria with excellent qualification and a strong desire to excel in Public Health and programs, Life Sciences, Infectious diseases, Malaria and Human Development; Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV/AIDS), Melioidosis, Tuberculosis, Medical Laboratory diagnostic/management, Global health, strategy development, Monitoring and Evaluation, research/survey, training and consulting, academic research and teaching. He is an accomplished researcher, having served as Principal Investigator on many groundbreaking studies, presented at national workshop, leading international health conferences, and with several articles (40+) published in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Ogboi Sonny Johnbull has an extensive network of professional contacts with country, regional, and global health structures, including the World Health Organization, Roll Back Malaria, Global Fund, World Bank, USAID programmes. His activities are carried out in a respected, collaborative research and teaching environment, where he has played an important part in the achievement of success.
