Biography:
I am a Scientific Officer in the Quality Assurance Department at the National Institute of Health (NIH), Islamabad, Pakistan. I am working in the Quality Assurance Department of Biological Production Division, supporting the implementation of GMP, GLP, GDP and ISO standards (9001, 15189, 17043, 17025) across the manufacturing and testing of vaccines and other biological products. My role involves conducting internal audits, issuing line clearance during vaccine filling and packaging, coordinating with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) for regulatory compliance, and providing training to production and QC staff.
My research and professional interests lie in strengthening quality systems in vaccine production, developing risk-based approaches to manufacturing and inspections, and contributing to innovation in biologics. I am particularly interested in collaborative opportunities that enhance quality assurance practices and capacity building in vaccine manufacturing in low- and middle-income countries.
