Biography:
Dr. Muluken Azage is an associate professor and a faculty at the School of Public Health, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. Dr Azage has more than 13 years of research experience in Epidemiological studies, implementation research, and spatial epidemiology. Dr Azage research interest that spans neglected tropical diseases, Tuberculosis, Zoonotic diseases, environmental health, and WASH. I have been a major contributor to design, conduct and analysis of mega-research projects.
I have been serving in different academic positions as dean and director with activities that require more than 20% administrative time on top of teaching, conducting research, and providing community services. Currently, I am Director of project Development and management. I also supervise 8 Ph.D. and more than 34 MPH students and examined 6 Ph.D. and 40 MPH theses from different universities in Ethiopia. I published more than 60 articles as an author and co-authors in a peer-reviewed journal. I have successfully collaborated with well-regarded domestic and international researchers.
