Biography:

I am a multidisciplinary vaccine researcher with over a decade of experience in biochemistry, immunology, and computational biology. My research focuses on tuberculosis vaccine development, with particular interest in rational vaccine design, immune profiling, and the discovery of novel adjuvants from natural products. I have applied systems and omics based approaches—including transcriptomics, network biology, and machine learning—to uncover biomarkers of vaccine-induced protection and identify host-directed therapeutic targets.

My recent work investigates immunomodulatory compounds from Abrus precatorius, using a combination of chromatographic purification, flow cytometry, and PBMC-based assays to evaluate their potential to enhance vaccine responses. In parallel, I have conducted high-throughput computational screening and QSAR modelling of natural anti-infective compounds. I am passionate about translational research, scientific collaboration, and capacity-building across low- and middle-income countries.

Through VALIDATE, I hope to share resources, contribute expertise, and engage in interdisciplinary partnerships to advance vaccine R&D against complex intracellular pathogens.
