Biography:

I have studied the taxonomy and distribution of Burkholderia sensu lato for many years, trying to apply these species and other in biotechnology as biofertilizers and biocontrol agents. I am also interested on knowing the presence of B. pseudomallei and the B. cepacia complex in Mexico to rise awareness about this groups in the clinical settings in Mexico.
