Biography:

My research interest is focused on the evaluation of new immunological and molecular tools for the detection of both latent and active tuberculosis (TB).  In particular, these tests are evaluated in vulnerable population such as children, pregnant women and individuals with diabetes. We are also involved in a TB vaccine clinical trial and in national MDR survey.  TB bovine: Epidemiological study and surveillance approach.
