Tuberculosis, Leprosy, Allergy and chronic inflammation

Biography:

In my PhD, I worked on bacterial membrane transporters which are responsible for B-type vitamins transport (PhD thesis title: Biochemical and structural insights in bacterial B-type vitamin transporters of the Pnu family ). In Karolinska Institute, I will work on biochemical and structural aspects of lipid mediators involved in various diseases. Before joining here in Karolinska, I was in Switzerland (EPFL, Lausanne) and Germany (RVZ, Wuerzburg) focusing on drug screening for TB (tuberculosis) and Cryo EM study of ribosomal complexes respectively.
