Biography:

Currently, our laboratory is majorly working on vaccine development against visceral leishmaniasis, a deadly parasitic infectious disease. Till date there is no effective vaccination is available for the treatment of this severe infection. Nevertheless, we are focused on the development of a cost-effective and safe multi-epitope subunit vaccine against this parasitic disease along with drug discovery because the subunit vaccine contains the immunogenic protein which will be potent enough to generate the immunological responses in the host. To achieve our goal, we are utilizing chemical and system biology approaches along with reverse vaccinology approach.
