Biography:
I completed my PhD in 2017 under the supervision of Prof Mark Hulett (La Trobe University), investigating novel cell death induction in innate immunity against pathogens. For this work, I was awarded the Nancy Millis medal for theses of exceptional merit. Since 2018, I have joined Dr

Ivan Poon’s laboratory (La Trobe University) as a postdoctoral fellow. I am particularly interested in cell death and innate immunity, currently investigating the role of innate killing-mediated apoptotic cell disassembly on triggering adaptive responses during infection.
