Biography:

I have attained my PhD in Clinical Science & Immunology from the University of Cape Town working on the evaluation of mRNA transcriptomic signatures which can be used for the development of a point-of-care screening test for TB and in monitoring responses to TB treatment. I have a deep appreciation for computational biology and the application of Bioinformatics tools in enhancing our understanding of host immune responses. I am also deeply passionate about science communication.
