Biography: Dra. Lozano has many years of experience in research related to Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection, participating in projects on pathogenesis, immune response, vaccines, and gene therapy. She got a PhD in Biochemistry at UNAM and the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition, during which she investigated the regulatory immune responses during Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection with strains that exhibit different levels of virulence in a murine model.
