We added Iran to our list of countries with VALIDATE members, bringing us to representation in 60 countries worldwide. The BSI tweeted an excellent infographic explaining how the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine works, and Joanna Ehrlich explained the amazing breakthrough we could see if TB vaccine research was funded like the COVID-19 programmes. The Vaccine Confidence Project shared an article on mRNA vaccines, and CIDRI-Africa Wellcome Centre highlighted the excellent work of VALIDATE member Dr Suraj Parihar. Finally, the BSI posted their final issue of Immunology News in 2020, published an excellent what’s in a vaccine blog post, and shared an article about how terrifying and incredible 2020 was for immunologists.
