  • BSI - Equality, Diversity & Inclusion activity grants - The British Society for Immunology believes that bringing together people from different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives will support innovation and research through a diversity of ideas and to solve challenges faced by our world - deadline 4 June 2021
  • Multimodal Research Across Scales To Understand Human Disease  - Apply for funding to support the development of a new research collaboration to expand understanding of human disease – deadline 6 August 2021
  • BBSRC Standard Research Grant (21RM3) - Projects can range in size up to £2 million and last up to five years. Funding can support a range of activities from research projects to technology development, new infrastructure and equipment, use of equipment and facilities, networks, and summer school – deadline 21 September 2021

We also drew attention to an article by New Atlas article about a new TB test for children, details of Western Cape’s new tuberculosis dashboard and continued our #BCG100Facts with infographics on the Brontë Sisters and the high death toll in 18th and 19th century Europe. Write That PhD has some advice for writing introduction, discussion and result sections for journal articles. Nature Careers had some stories about obtaining lottery funding and how better University rewards systems can help tackle bullying.
